Wide receivers are already here.

In my opinion, I do believe that we have enough weapons already on the team to become a dangerous threat. I find it hard to believe after all these years, that Steve Smith is the only threat we have at wide receiver. I believe a lot of it does have to do with the playcalling and the QB play. I believe the issue is the coaching staff not focusing on the player's abilities.

Ok, with Steve Smith we use his elusivness and speed. We have plays designed for the man and he definitely takes advantage of it. How about we use Jarrett's big body as a strength? Watching just this year, I notice that Jarrett been open on a lot of plays but that tunnel vision our QB of late had, seems to eliminate the man out of the picture. What am I saying? First it starts with playcalling. Can we please stop being so predictable? I remember the first week of the season how the commentators are talking about how by looking at our formations, opposing teams knew exactly what we are going to do. Ok, I understand execute plays a big roll. I am just tired of watching other teams using "no name" receivers and lighting up the other team. Sad thing to notice if we didn't have Steve Smith, we would have not have scored an offensive touchdown since last year. The talent is there folks.

How about this concept? The better offensive play we have, the better defensive play we would have? Ok, missed tackles are not helping us but if our offense and actually move the ball that would give our defense some rest. I , for one, am excited about sunday. I do have to remind myself that Clausen is a rookie but I do like what I see. I want to see him move the ball around and take what the defense gives us. I have a good feeling about the game but O-line we have to give the kid some time. Short dump off pass plays would be nice too.

For those of you who aren't going to read to OP just because of the sheer size of it, but still want to be a part of this thread. Here is something else for you too look at and discuss.

Fixed, even though its hard to have good segways and opening paragraphs with questions repeatiously.

I was just going to do a brief summary of it, but like Bleys said. I'ts been done sooooooo many times. There's no point. Another Dupe thread about Jimmy, how the o-line needs to step up, how are coaching staff sucks, and how our wide receivers are better than they appear.

I love the Panthers, and I think our team is awesome and full of potential.

Buuuuuuuuuuttttt.... I think this is awesomerer.

I definitely agree with you to some extent. QB play has made other guys look bad. Jake not seeing open targets yadayda. Moore was getting us there though last season but it looks like he's digressed. Gettis and LaFell are definitely talented enough to be #2's but we have use them right way and they have to develop as well.

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
