That one play that always stands in your mind (in person)

It doesn't have to be a playoff game or a winning season.

Mine was Kevin Greene's last sack. I believe it was against New Orleans and we were running up the score on them. Crazy rules in that season (Panthers, Dallas and Packers were in it until the end for the last wild card spot and the point total was determining the final spot)

We scored so many points that season. Gill Haskell was a genius

I was at Baghdad Airport, we were stuck for a night because of fog. We were returning home after a year during OIF III. Panthers and Giants were on. These people had no clue what Smitty and Peppers and Jake were all about. The shock and horror in their face after that playoff victory in '06 made up for the fact that I had to spend one more shity night in that armpit of the civilization.

Mine was Smitty's amazing catch & run against the Cheifs. It was had to tell what happened, b/c he looked 'tackled' initially, but he came riding out of the sunset & went for a TD. We were all like "What the f_ _ _" just happened! Of course the stands went wild at that point.

I'd have a hard time to narrow it to just one. Some of the most memorable for me include the Dallas game when Michael Irvin got pounded and got up woozy with turf stuck in his grill, or when Deion Sanders got hit so hard they carted him off on a golf cart with his eyes rolled back in his head. On the offensive side, I guess maybe the first touchdown pass Jake threw in that first game he came into in relief of Peete, or Steve Beurelein's QB keeper to score and beat Green Bay.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
