Buying the band lunch during an official function is one thing. Buying transfers through promises of financial aid from individual coaches, donors, etc. is another. Now I'm not saying that's what Teddy did and I don't think that's what he did, so I think they are mis-applying the rules here. I find his situation different from say, what Pruitt was doing at Tennessee. It's sort of like what Saban helped his players do. Buy them Ferrari's, lodging, etc. You know? -
I agree, but I've already said that the players will definitely take more money up front because it's more security. TBH, these are the kind of players that get weeded out of professional sports pretty quickly. Also, CMC is not that guy. There is zero indication that he isn't competitive.
