Too much pressure for a rookie and the bad playing conditions was just terrible for both teams. Matt had his bell rang a few times last couple of weeks and he should be healed at this time. If we continue to start Clausen this can only hurt him in the long run. It's a no win situation for the Panthers coaches cause this season barring a miraculous turn around is a wash.

I doubt it.

I definitely think we'd see more qb rushes for -3 yards though if we had Moore in there.

Edit: With the playcalling being so vanilla, we won't win. Moore would have had turnovers as well. Moore would have probably been a deer caught in headlights in the second half, whereas Clausen was evading like a mad man, even if most were futile.

That's what was going on through my head too. We had plenty of chances. And not because Matts better but if Matt stayed in we would have had some consistency on this team.

Once I say you I should've known this was THAT type of thread no more I'm looking for the real topics. It's not even comparible any more.

      Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear."     So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because?    Speculation indeed.

      Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
