Division games have a way of staying close. The Panther's seem to play the Saints well almost always, and the Saints aren't quite hitting on all cylinders yet. I haven't seen the Panthers this year other than a little of the Giants game so it's hard for me have an informed opinion of your team. I'm just hoping your offense doesn't get well against us.

We have some issues on defense so, I'm thinking this game will go like most Saints games during the Payton era. If the defense plays well, we'll probably win, if not, it'll come down to making plays in the 4th qtr.

I know the Saints are coming off of a loss, and should come out swinging but, on the other hand, playing an 0-3 team is a bit scary too because the Panthers should be desperate for a win, and it's not like it's late in the season where the teams with poor records have packed it in yet.

Inspired by what? The fact that they can't possibly play any worse than they already have?

You know the refs are going to let them hit some of our guys late and get away with murder.

Inspired by it being a divisional game and they (Saints) are the defending champs. These types of games have a way of lifting the crappiest teams to play to a higher level. I think you will be surprised next week. I am not predicting a victory however. I'm just tired of these negative threads saying how we will get our ass kicked.

yep.. this year is all about giving our young team experience...

which is why Clausen needs to start every game if he's the future...

I feel the same way, I just try to focus on how the younger players are progressing. If they win it's a plus, but I really do not expect them to that much this season...

at this point, the only thing that will piss me off is keeping Fox after this year.. whether you agree or not, I'd rather see a different set of issues and be medicore than to keep seeing the same poo over and over..

Oh believe me, I think we have more issues than just our players not having a lot of experience. Offensive play calling is a huge issue, and I question almost all of the decisions by the coaching staff. I fully expect Fox to be gone next year, probably along with most of the coaching staff as well...
