how many interviews has he had and still not gotten the job? The amount of chances he's gotten lead me to believe hes got potential, but baffled as to the reason no one has hired him yet.

And what about this Jim Harbaugh, I dont have time to watch college to, so I dont know much about him other than reading his wikepedia. That alone didnt sell me

He's the token interview to get around the Rooney rule. Don't kill the messenger.

I would like Harbaugh or Gruden. I want an offensive minded coach. Gruden could groom Clausen and "fix" the offense. I also assume he'd be smart enough to leave Meeks in place.

1) Harbaugh 2) Fraizer 3) Brian schottenheimer

I could handle any of these 3 but let me make a point for Gruden.

Sure he won a Superbowl with Dungy's team but who do you think built the Raider team that he played against? Thats right Gruden did, well you could say he knew the offense of the Raiders and thats why they won but he still built them.

Brign him in as Coach only and I think we would win the Super Bowl in 3 years. He wants to redeem himself and would make sure we would win.

Harbaugh is number one on my list right now. Standford could be the first team in BSC history to start the season outside the top 10 and make it to the championship game. And by all reports, Harbaugh is a great coach and motivator. He would also be coming from a college system which could help with all of the youth we have on the team.

Next would be Brain Schottenhiemer. And I wonder is Marty would come along as a coordinator... He has that Jets offense really rolling now and IMO he is doing that with a QB that is more raw and less talented than Clausen.

Third opion would be Mike Zimmer. Yeah, he fields good defenses but just being a good coordinator doesn't mean you can be a good head coach and Zimmer is one of those guys I think has head coach qualities.

No Gruden, no Cowher, no Frazier and no Grimm.

    • I’ve rarely ever been more sure of anything than losing out — but how can anyone say with a straight face “Bryce hasn’t improved, but Canales has and he’s masks his flaws”. You have to be so out of touch with reality to put one way above the other when discussing those two.
    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
