Those of you discussing the Panthers relocating

Put a sock in it. Teams most likely to relocate are Jaguars and Bills. We're not going anywhere, so those of you worrying, you're wasting as much time as those wishing JR died.

Make no mistake...this is a Carolinas-run team and it will stay that way. Morrison is a SC guy, Richardson a SC guy, and when JR passes, the team will go to his sons, whether he fired them or not.

We're gonna stay the Carolina Panthers. Any other notion is nonsense.

Relocation is being discussed? Glad I haven't stumbled into those threads.

Cue up the banjo:

"Let me tell ya little story about Jerry Richardson, cheap ass bastard so he fired both his sons...signed no free agents and they started oh-and-three, so he loaded up the truck and moved the team to Beverly...Hills that is....new stadium....PSL's."

Please sing along.

You forgot the Vikings. They haven't gotten their stadium renewal, to my knowledge

I actually added the Vikings originally, then took them out because I knew someone would say "But they're good, they won't relocate!" since some people think good teams don't move cities.

I give you...the Charlotte Hornets.

The Carolinas is a huge geographic region as far as a buisness model for the NFL. And love him or hate him I know of no man that loves this region more than our owner. Rest assured the Carolinas will have her Panthers for a long, long time. I do not profess to know a lot but take that to the bank:)

Totally agree. Panthers going no where soon probably never. However, the penny pinching that JR is doing earily reminds some people of the same thing done by George Shinn with the Hornets.

Fact is when you start saving money over signing players and expecting your fan base to buy ever more expensive tickets it can lead to a bad relationship quick and can cause an owner to lose a once proud fan base.

We have only the history of the Hornets to look at for that. Im sure many NEVER thought they would leave at one point

    • Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear."     So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because?    Speculation indeed.
    • Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
    • The salary cap is the reason we got Phillips and Lloyd
