Remaining schedule

Lumps

It is only fair to be somewhat negative given as of now we are the worst NFL team in the league in just about all categories.

I know it's still early in the season and anything can happen but if people can predict before teams even start playing why not now.

Saints (2-1) Loss- Think Brees will lose twice in a row? It's more realistic to say we will lose to them at this point. A win will be surprising.

Bears (3-0) Loss- Peppers will show up unlike our Oline and they just beat Green Bay MNF.

San Fran (0-3) Toss up- I think with us being 0-5 by now would possibly make this a first win for either team game (they play the Eagles and Falcons before us). Also their losses came from the 2-1 Saints and the unbeatable 3-0 KC Chiefs. Winning this game in this scenario IMO is unlikely.

Rams (1-2) Win-Although they are starting to click and put up 30 points in their last game although it was vs. Washington (1-2).

Buccs (2-1) Win I can see us realistically winning this game. They just got destroyed by the Steelers and only wins come from us and the 0-3 Browns.

Hawks (2-1) Loss Hawks have an easy schedule ahead of them before reaching us, they are already 2-1 and if they keep winning and gain a lead they could prove to be a hard team to beat. They also had a good draft and have some new tools.

Atlanta (2-1) Loss They are just playing as a better team. Saints only loss and probably for a while.

Arizona (2-1) Win Only wins as of now is the Rams and Raiders (both 1-2), two games they barely won. Loss was to the Falcons and were dominated.

Steelers (3-0) Loss This team is kicking ass already without their QB, he will be back when they get to us. Yay.

Atlanta (2-1) Win we'll squeak one by here but it will be a worthless game because the Buccs will finish one game ahead of us and Atlanta 2 games ahead of them.

That puts us at 5-11 if we win the toss up and 6-10 if we beat the Hawks which would be the next reasonable team win. That is the extent of this team as of now. I realize things can change quick, this is realistic according to how things are now.

It's funny how the "Grass is Always Greener" philosophy is in full effect in this thread.

"Well, we'll lose to this team, because, even though they suck, they're starting to get it together, and the same goes for this team, and this team, and this team will just beat us because."

Funny how Panther fans never seen the green grass on our side of the fence, when it typically shows up when we least expect it to.

I don't know if it's "unrealistic" or "laughable" or whatever.

But this team can get it together just like any other team we Panther fans expect to.

Heck, we started 0-3 last year and finished 8-8, and that was with Jake single handedly (Sorry Jake) losing us games we should've won (Buffalo anyone?)

I don't know what the future holds, but if any other team can "get it together" I don't see why we couldn't either.

I must be watching a different team than the ones you folks are watching. This team is being toyed with by others (even the Bucs). I say 1-15 or 2-14 at best in games that only a masochist could enjoy watching. I get the distinct impression that the Panthers don't have a QB that the other guys enjoy playing with and winning with. Jake at his worst was still a guy that the other guys liked and would play hard for. It ain't happening with what we have left.

I think we beat the Browns, win 2 of the toss ups and sneak up and beat one of the teams I have us losing to....4-12

    • Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear."     So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because?    Speculation indeed.
    • Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
    • The salary cap is the reason we got Phillips and Lloyd
