Playing the way we are, 3-4 wins in a very realistic outcome.

However, I still hold out hope that this can be turned around somewhat and that we are a competitive team by the 2nd half of the season.

The defense is playing OK.

The RB's are still studs.

We have Smitty and not much else....same old story for several years.

The wildcard is the OLine. They historically have gotten it together after the first 4-5 games for the past few seasons.

If they shore the Line up and Clausen continues to progress any, we could be a 7-9 team.

I must be watching a different team than the ones you folks are watching. This team is being toyed with by others (even the Bucs). I say 1-15 or 2-14 at best in games that only a masochist could enjoy watching. I get the distinct impression that the Panthers don't have a QB that the other guys enjoy playing with and winning with. Jake at his worst was still a guy that the other guys liked and would play hard for. It ain't happening with what we have left.

if we win 4 games, we will be lucky. i was an 8-8 guy but now think we can win 3 and have a shot at a 4th.

silver lining: we still have our first round pick next year! (if there is a draft)
