Meh. I grew out of "smack talk" with trolls back in like 2005. It's not like you can win anything with them. Their sole purpose is to BE dumbasses and make you angry. Which, be the looks of the replies in their threads, they are good at doing.

personally I like calling them idiots and neg repping them, it almost satisfies me too much

I just wish they were banned when they make themselves obvious, give me the ban stick I'll show no mercy and they'll be baned before anyone even responds, trolling=ended in epic fail. I will however warn you now I will take advantage and I will use it freely and unfairly.

I disagree. Ignoring one user name will only make them create others. At least we know the current name and can choose not to read.

You have to adopt a "Special Olympics" type attitude. Let them think they accomplished something since it makes them happy and hurts no one. Feed them a little, let them laugh at the thought that they are doing something while you are laughing at them instead.

What would be ideal is that you can't rep or neg rep at all in the smack forum. Then we could deal with trolls in the other forums appropriately.

Because people where neg repping opposing fans for no good reason. Mods cant change rep so they get stuck in smack. If people would ignore idiot posters they will go away.
