The pass in the dirt

you are dodging my Henne question. How does the logic only apply to Matt Moore?

also, I wouldn't say Moore's 3 starts in 07 was w/ better talent. Nor would I say his 2009 starts. Moose wasn't a difference maker.

never said I wasn't pullling for him. I am. I am just not going to make up stuff and claim he is something he isn't

Im not trying to dodge the question, I just don't know. I haven't seen enough to Henne to make that Judgement!

Logic applies because Matt has played in more than ONE bad game, as I also said.

And please name one receiver on our team that is better than Moose! And if you say D. Jarrett I'm going to :puke:

In 2009 our defence was better, our rushing game was at its peak, our oline held thier own in pass blocking and we had an expiereced 2nd WR.

Oh lawd, you got me

BTW if you want a definitive statement, here is one for you...THE NFL SAYS JIMMY WAS BETTER THAN BREESUS

Prove them wrong!

I didn't ask what the NFL says. I asked what you thought. You don't want to say what you think because you know its B.S. and even you don't believe half of what you write.

what other bad game? The still winnable one against Tampa? That was a horrific call by Fox for you to hang your hat on. A winnable game directly after his concussion until Fox claimed for some odd reason it was over?

better than the 2009 Moose? Gettis. The 09 Moose was a shell of the old Moose.

Our D has played well enough for us to be 3-1 this season. NY, Cincy, and NO.

who was starting on the OL for Moore in 09?

I'll buy into that. In fact, I think that LaFell might even be better than the '09 Moose. He looked like what he was, an old man passed his prime.

What does the concussion have to do with anything? He was cleared to play. If Fox and company thought that it woul effect his play they wouldve benched him.

Sorry I don't have time to read the entire thread, but back to MrScot's OP, I also noticed Smith at one point turned to the sideline and made a motion like he was eating soup, in other words it was like he was telling the coaches to feed me the ball. IDK, maybe he just wanted something to eat, but that was my take on it.

And yes their is some obvious tension between the 2, but think about it Smitty has to understand... Jake and Matt Moore got themselves into trouble forcing the ball to him. He needs other guys to be involved in the passing game or defenses will continue to double or triple team him, which by teams doing this he actually is helping the team, by drawing extra coverage.(something we don't have to worry about for a few weeks) But, I'm confused by not getting Smitty down the field on some deep routes, not Gettis or Rosario, those 2 should be his short yardage go to guys.

But its not better then last years is it?

It doesnt matter who was starting last year. The point is in 2009 they were better.

I would not say this defense is worse.....not yet. Not when they set things up for the 3 wins in 4 games.

You gotta factor in what the offense is doing and how that effects things. They set the stage for some ass kickings to occur w/ some decent offensive in 2 games and then held the Saints to some low points. Offfense has been staying on the field like in 09
