I don't give a crap about a 5-11 frame...Look at his combine info: He's got longer arms and bigger hands than any of our qb's. (I highly doubt he would have let that handoff slip threw his hands)...His arm length and high release will at least get the ball over the line 10x better than Clausen's side arm throw.

And since our o-line decided to suck this year and our receivers take too long to get open, a mobile qb such as Edwards can at least scramble for a gain of yards or create time for our receivers to get open.

I can assure you Edwards would have thrown that ball much earlier and on target to Lafell in the endzone... I don't know if I linked this youtube clip correctly, but if not, just type in "Armanti Edwards pass against wofford" and you will all see what I mean. That is all, have a good week.

I don't disagree giving him more reps in the Wildcat, but he can't be our full-time qb

Why not give him a shot this year since we are just rotating QB's in and out? i mean seriously, what is it going to hurt at this point? let him come in some plays like they were doing with vick/kolb in the first game or two in philly. Who knows maybe this guy has serious skill we will never discover. Now is as good a time as any to try him out or at least some point in this season since the team is looking so pathetic anyhow.

You take a QB out of the game to bring in an obvious package for another player then not only do you give up what you're doing, you also take away any chance of rhythm for your usual QB. Once Miami figured that out they got more consistent on offense.

      Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy

      Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
