There was never anything solid about Gruden after his first year taking the reins of a Dungy team. After his first year Gruden won zero playoff games. I agree, Gruden in the booth is where he belongs.

True! Only a few coaches out there who have built teams, and none of them are interested in coaching anymore

Bring in a coach most have not heard of and I don't believe the seats get filled next year. But you keep believing in the inmature fickle fans that is the Panther fan base. If you read what is being posted, fans are pissed at what JR has done to this team, and there isn't too much he can do right now to keep the fans from fleeing.

ITs not the fans job to worry about filling seats, and we shouldn'y sign a fuging head coach just to get media attention..make the right hire, and win football games, and I doubt Cowher will do that. Whats the point of being on ESPN every 5 mins when you're not winning?

It is just as much our job as deciding the next HC and you sure have a opinion on that mather... The truth is everything surrounding the Panthers is our job to have an opinion on.

And BTW what is your agenda with Cowher?

It is to say his coaching style is out of date or is to say he is a bad coach? One of them would make you look like a fool... Guess for yourself.

And Jangler is right ( you surely have not read his first post ) If we want to keep people in the seats over the offseason after a for example an 0-16 season is to get someone with a name in here. Thinking otherwise is just plain stupid and no he is not saying that Cowher would keep people in the stands if we are 0-8. He is saying first of all it would be a spark to the fanbase and second of all people will have a longer leach with a proven coach than some no name.

And no i am not in the hire Cowher corner. But Jangler do have a point.

Parcells or Schottenheimer. They both can build teams really good. And I know people are going to say Marty can't win in the playoffs or big games, but the last year he coached he coached his team to a 14-2 record. I'd rather have a good team in the playoffs every year and not go to the super bowl than one who doesn't even make the playoffs and has a losing record

      Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.

      All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
