How many drives have been stop by Clausen compared too how many were stop by false starts and not being lined up (lafell)?

Most of them have been Clausen when he actually passed the ball. Only 7 out of his 29 third down throws have resulted in a first down. With More is was 10 out of 22 or almost twice as many. He is averaging less than 8 first downs a game throwing the ball on any down. Lowest in the league.

Again since your are avoiding the ? how many times has a false start a holding call of moving violation hurt a drive for Jimmy as well as Matt?

The difference is those rookies were playing like rookies, moving the ball some, making some mistakes. I don't think Clausen is going to go out there and play out of his mind. But tell me this, when you were watching the game on Sunday, was there ever a moment in the game where you said to yourself, "Man, I feel a nice drive coming" or was it more like, "Jesus I hope D Will breaks one off so we can move the ball."

I just want some hope of a nice drive, some chance that we can string a few nice plays together and I haven't seen that from him. Other rookies have highs and lows. He's had mostly lows.

You must not have watched the Saints game. He put together some decent work in that one.

Clausen most definitely is playing like a normal rookie quarterback. And like a million others before him, he's had his good times and his bad times.

It's well known that I didn't favor starting him early, but he's in now. For better or worse, he needs to stay there.
