My brain keeps telling me that the best thing for the Panthers this season is to just go ahead and lose so they end up with the highest draft picks possible. This is going to help us in the long run, it's what's best for the team, my brain keeps telling me. But every Sunday I'm cheering for them to win. Just can't help it.

Don't worry it's in the bag for you, we've won two times in the past 8 or 9 years on the East coast and I was at one of them in Buffalo in 2008. 2 Giants games, an Eagle game, they were all embarrassing losses that I've been too, don't see it happening here. You're going to get your swag back after this game.

since you haven't gone through puberty yet I think you will be ok.

ask your mom if ive been through puberty ;)

ya she told me your vagina was as hairless as a sphynx cat

That whole thing was funny to me....

What the hell are you saying man? If we win this game we still have a shot at the playoffs.

Even though people dont realize it we really do. Disregard my sig just pissed off after another EASY WINABLE GAME we fumbled away like Mr Tiny hands does to much. The nfc is so weak and muffled up we can still make the playoffs check it, I should have started a thread but Im losing my optimistic outlook.

Check it our for yourself NFL.com records NFC is shitty as it gets still

In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter if Fox is fired midseason or at the end. He is gone and the next coach isn't on staff.

I would will it to happen. Simply b/c we would then get a realistic view of exactly how horrible Jeff Davidson is.....or if Fox is the main reason for it.

I must say I would never want us to lose no matter what, but I do want to see if this is more on Jeff or John I would pay to find out that.

I always want to win. I'm never indifferent. I get too emotionally into it at the games. Losing sucks, even when we suck.

Why? If the freakin owner of the team doesn't care if we win then why should I spend my entire sunday being pissed off? At this point I watch the games to see what kind of progress our young guys are making. If Matt Moore gets the start over Clausen I really don't know if it'd be worth watching. We are 0-5...what is Matt Moore going to do for us now?

    • For Bryce’s obvious shortcomings (bad pun), there is upside to his game. This isn’t being a homer or apologists, but I like to consider myself fair in criticism.  He’s far tougher than I ever thought he’d be. I really thought homie would have been broken in half by now. I don’t know how he’s not, but he’s not.  He is prone to turning the ball over early in games which digs a huge hole the team is not built to come back from, but dude DOES come up with crucial first down in crucial situations. It’s NEVER pretty, but he just kind of has the shining. He gets bailed out LOTS, and the team still loses games because of him, but he’s a bit of an enigma. He’s a turnover machine that is clutch in big moments.  He’s a smart/elusive cat. He kind of has to be with his limitations. His audibles are almost always correct and he understands coverages. I don’t see him getting fooled too frequently. His turnovers are almost never the ‘damnit Jake/Cam!’ brand we have been accustomed to. They are ALWAYS due to his size/strength limitations.  Strip sacks that shouldn’t be. Picks that happened because he just don’t got that NFL arm. He is still prone to panicking and the wheels can and do fall off at a much higher rate than his peers.  The team is winning on the backs of the defense, running game and special teams… but they’re winning, and unbelievably 1 game behind Tampa. As long as this is happening and Bryce doesn’t go full meltdown, Dave is going to keep him in. He is not getting pulled.
    • This was a terrible podcast. A bunch of uninformed homers that had worse takes than the bottom 10% of the Huddle. I listened to a handful of podcasts this past offseason in search of new Panthers material since John Ellis doesn't do his pod anymore and The 4 Man Rush don't either. Immediately deleted it after the handful I listened to. Truly terrible.
    • The NFC South was so bad it sent a team with a losing record to the Playoffs that year. Wilks had players playing hard at the end but let’s not act like that was a good season. That season hurts even more now that we see in hindsight how good our QB situation was. We just didn’t know it.
