Why not Armanti Edwards at QB?

dude the college football talent pool has grown exponentially compared to the size of the FBS. it's been at a point were there is talent outside the BCS for a while now. get with the program.

why do you think you see so many more fcs teams being competitive with bigger schools the last couple years? i.e. umass, jmu, richmond, appstate. . . . etc.

back to topic: kid looked pretty fast to me when he hit that hole sunday.

yep, everyone claimed Chris Johnson looked a lot better in college than he was b/c he was playing w/ scrubs. Took him 2 seasons to break Faulks record.

I am not saying I think Armanti is great but at this point I do think we should all join hands in a circle and sing .....all we are saying, is give Armanti a chance. all we are saying, is give Armanti a chance.

Moss was recruited by FLORIDA STATE. Flacco went to PITT before transfering.

No one is denying that the FCS produces some great players. Some of the greatest...not sure how to factor in grades (ACT-SAT), race (past issue), discipline issues (Randy Moss). The level of competition is second tier though and if you argue that then I am sorry for you and hope that ont breed because your children and your childrens children will be idiots.

Show me a spread QB who has had a great amount of success in the NFL.

that's was my point, so why is it impossible then to believe that the best player to come from that level couldnt be an exceptional talent? he played the game better than the rest of them could. edwards = unknown commodity

spread qb's: drew brees, but on another note the spread isnt used by a handfull of schools anymore. spread qb's are a dime a dozen so pretty soon it wont even matter.

Since the comparison has already been made... Vick is only 6'0"... a guy I know who is an App State homer says that Armanti has long arms and has a high release point (I have no idea, does he?) Clausen is taller, but not that much more and has a more 3/4 release...

I say it's worth a shot with our crap O-line...

You calling me an App State homer?... LOL :P
