No but you can get a vic card.

Right... You can always tell who the rookies in the stadium are when that stupid announcement is made, "Alright, folks. It's time to get out those Vic Cards and...." the bloke in front of you pulls his out and there isn't a camera within a half mile....

We try to tell 'em there hasn't been a camera in our section but once since 1995 and even then the guy picked to do the punt, pass and kick thing on the field was an embarrassment...

No, they're privately owned.

You have no say, get over it.

Ha! What cracks me up is the rubes in Green Bay who think they have a say. I think they hold one meeting a year where they let all the stock holders come and give their 2 cents. I'm sure the coaches just love Joe Bob's thoughts on what type of defence to run.

    • Sure, he's said that, but what it really means is that he's just going to insist on being a two way player and the Jags want him as such. But he won't be a starter who plays every snap on both sides in Week 1, if at all during his rookie year.  This is the NFL, no rookie, no matter how good they might be, is going to be able to go through their first mini and training camps while splitting time on both sides of the ball and be ready to be a week 1 starter and go full time both sides. And if a team does that, then they're dumb. I think their plan is to start him mainly on offense to give Lawrence another weapon, and I'm guessing it means he'll be a rotational CB early in the season, maybe he comes in when they go to nickel, even if he then plays the outside and someone else shifts inside.

    • YAC isn't the only way to be a threat. Thielen's ADOT was 11 yards last year. He's stressing a defense beyond its first level. Renfrow's 2023 ADOT was 5.6 yards. He's settling into a soft spot under a zone and the defense bets that they can rally and tackle before he gets to the marker. That kind of popgun slot receiver play is fine, but we should hope to be able to find that ability in someone who can also bring another skill, whether that's a vertical threat, or some jet sweep/screen game YAC  ability, or even just being very large and blocking well. Every time we trot Renfrow out there, we limit what the defense has to worry about.
