I dont get it...even when Jake was stinking it up last year,if you watch the NFL Network its like they would make fun/call out jake but in a comical way not the way they go after guys..they wouldnt really lean into him..they dont lean into the coaching staff as they do with fellow bad teams, last year like the rams and the raiders...you can say they are easier targets but they just dont go after the panthers..and colin cowherd doesnt rip em and he rips everyone..skip bayless..deion..JAMIE DUKES for crying out loud..no of em rip the panthers like they rip other teams that suck or have bad FO's and bad coaches...not that it would be a good thing..but everytime a guy gets question about our Head Coach...first thing out of their mouth.."well you know he's a great guy" what follows in very little detail about how the panthers are not getting it done...let them ask out any other bad team..they break the situation down faster and deeper with more info than you need......weird:confused:

nobody cares anymore. can't even be special having the perfect 0-16 record anymore. it's a;ready been done. now we're just another team trying to pull it off and we're competing with the bulls for it.

really, what's someone going to say? why would anyone really waste the energy talking about the panthers? it's a boring subject. cowboys being 1-5 are more interesting fodder.

he threw 2 horrible redflags against the bears...one was extremely oblivious and not even a peep from the commentators....i know we are not big new but damn...whos getting paid off....the raiders get more press than we do...hell the lions have sucked for years and their GM who was the cause got talked about more than the team...im looking for some kinda national feed back...i might pay three nice and lovely ladies to streak this sunday to get some air time

Basically you have to be good enough to get ragged on.

We were in the playoffs in 08 and Jake's bad game was very widely known. Expectations were still high in 09 so we got made fun of more.

Expectations were super duper low for the media this year so nobody is going to make fun of us. They don't care.

    • And that makes you right.
    • Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.
    • We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
