Oh no... f**k no... any chance I get, I go. I went to the Saints game at the end of last year. I had a shot at some tix for the Bears game. They wound up going to someone else I know though. If I had the money I'd own a luxury box.

OK cool.

Well I'm really with you. Going to the game is too much fun. It's a great product.

sorry to make this so black and white and split it into two sides, but if you still go about rah rah-ing the franchise in these you're promoting mediocrity and that you're fine with it, and if you express your disappointment you want them to become something better than they are and are not afraid to show it through action (i.e. boycotting merchandise, concession)

I've supported the Panthers since '95, when I was 15 years old!

The Carolina Panthers are like a family member...they just happen to be sick right now. I'm not a family member who will just leave them there to lay in the hospital bed all alone. I'm gonna sit there with them until they get better, because that's what being a good fan is all about.

Sad thing for me is that I'm spending a lot of time in hospitals between the Panthers and my Vols.

lol.. I would agree about booing but I don't think the players deserve it so much as the people who make all the decisions.. one way or the other booing on the field falls on the players.. not supporting your team financially falls on the decision-makers..

great point. I am however remembering the Gladiator lines about winning the crowd. An empty stadium solves nothing except the execution of the Carolina Panthers. Go and raise hell. The voice of the mob can possibly make the small changes that will spark some others. The state of this team has been this way for many years yet our conservative play and decent drafting keeps us in games enough to have an average year every now and again.

This organization has never sold out for a win or to be a champion and I believe it is largely because the fans in the stands are satisfied with mediocrity. We're southern and we're nice and we understand and ....bullshit! Booing a performance is as large a part of the entertainment experience as cheering is dating back to the very first stage. Hooks and rotten fruit and gongs and the like. You remember. You pay to pass judgement. They play for your approval. Don't give it unless they earn it.

In spirit, I support the Panthers. Always. But I am not traveling to Charlotte to attend any games this year, spend any money on concessions, buy any jerseys or anything new from the organization. It's real simple. Jerry is a businessman and can choose to run his business how he pleases. I am the customer. Just like any other product or service, if I am displeased with the quality of said product or service I will spend my money on something else. Ergo, I will not be spending any money on this crappy product. It's not some type of protest, it's just the free market at work. yee haw.

This. Fans deserve better than raised ticket prices when the owner is intentionally going cheap. Though I will always be a panther fan and always cheer for them. Anyone else cry when the panthers lost the superbowl?
