After today's win I know the Magic of Matt Moore is back. My favorite player is going to take us far.

I can see us winning every single game the rest of the way except maybe New Orleans and Pittsburgh.

I'm telling you, get excited. This season is going to be made into a movie. It's going to be better than The Program (one of the best sports movies ever).

It'll start with a team led by a drunk coach (John Fox), a QB lacking in confidence and failing with the ladies (Matt Moore), jackass rookie who thinks he's all that and snakes his way into the starting QB role (Jimmy Clausen) and a WR who's constantly starting locker room fights, punching teammates and getting smart with the media (Steve Smith)

But then...

the Panthers play San Francisco and come out with a miraculous win! And everything turns around. Matt Moore becomes the most confident man in the world and picks up the hottest b**ches imaginable, John Fox becomes sober for good, Jimmy Clausen gets traded to the UFL and Steve Smith joins a Won Buddhist Temple in his spare time.

Together, the Carolina Panthers march toward their destiny and make the playoffs! Then, as an underdog we play the role of the comeback kid and overcome incredible deficits in the playoffs to make the super bowl where we have to play the dreaded New York Jets. Somehow... Someway... Matt Moore throws a super bowl record 6 TD passes, all on Darelle Revis (and he looks TERRIBLE in these plays) and the Panthers lift the Lombardi Trophy!

They just had some lapses in games where they just go still offensively, defensively. Their competitiveness just drops a little bit. They never step on anybody's throat. When they have a team with a little bit of a lead, they never step on the throat. It's been something all year." The only disagreement I'd have with Hansbrough's assessment is that it's not limited to just this year. It's been Hubert's entire tenure. Hallmarks of Hubert's teams are: streaky shooting, streaky focus, running your starters into the dirt because you won't sub, and absolutely embarrassingly bad plays put of timeouts. It all points straight to the coach. When the roster keeps changing but the core fundamental issues keep recurring, it's not the players.

      Leafs are broken. Out of the playoffs and Matthews done for the year.  It's either a very dangerous game against a team who doesn't give a fug and will leave it all on the ice, or a team who's thrown in the towel with an effort to match. And, yes, I'm sitting in the Miami Airport waiting on my next flight. Will be back in Lenovo both 28 & 29 for the b2b.
