Well I posted here over the last week and I gotta say Panther fan's are pretty cool. I hate how we lost this game but props to your Panthers for beating us. Losing Smith sucked in a big way early in the 3rd quarter. Sure he wasn't having a great game but David Carr is TRASH! I hated the signing in the first place and I hate it more now than ever. Anyway just wanted to eat some crow and wish you guy's the best of luck the rest of the season.... I guess. :D

Not real sure what "crow" you need to be eating. This game was decided the moment Smith went down. The fact that it was only a 3 point loss only solidifies San Fran being a lot better than their record would show.

Believe me, we all know Carr is trash. Hope Smith gets healthy soon.

When Smith went down, I knew it was over then and there. Smith CAN be a good QB just not in S.F. We have made it so hard for him to succeed since being drafted.

I hold Singletary responsible for bringing Carr into the organization. WTF was he thinking!? He's such a douche bag. I want him gone in the worse f**king way!

I want him out more than I want Obama out... and if you know me, that 's saying a lot...

Carr would run a country worse than Obama would quarterback a football team. As it stands, they're both equally inept at what they do.

this just isn't the 49ers season. the defense is still solid, and it seems that their is a good core on offense ready for a new coach to take over.

congrats on the SF Giants making the world series by the way, rooting for them to win(Brian Wilson is hilarious lol.)

Im so sick of some of you guys saying the game was over when smith went out...Really?? didn't matt moore throw and int that was returned for TD? Didn't we have to get back in the game? Didn't we score on their Defense (that Alex Smith doesn't play on). since when was Alex Smith morphed into Peyton manning. you play with who's on the field. I don't care who it is. We won and there are NO excuses. just like when we lose there are NO excuses.

remember the other week when the 9er fans wer chanting for Carr to be put in the game?

when I saw that I realized just how ill informed your fan base was.

I was watching the game at home and could not believe what I was hearing! For our fan's to cheer for Carr made the fan base look like tools... gotta be honest.

i'm sorry, but we suck so bad that we need an excuse to actually win.

He converted all 13 of his field goal tries with a 100% conversion rate that led all FBS kickers with at least 12 attempts. Fitzgerald was also perfect on his 14 extra points. He will compete with Matthew Wright for the Panthers’ kicking job in training camp. Harrison-Hunte went undrafted despite a strong showing at the Combine. He’s an older prospect who will turn 25 by the start of his rookie year, but he had just one season of sustained production at SMU after five years at Miami. Still, he earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2024 with 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks and will push for a roster spot in Carolina as an athletic interior disruptor.   more at the link https://www.profootballrumors.com/2025/05/panthers-sign-19-undrafted-free-agents
