Delo slowed with hurt foot

At his weekly Monday afternoon press conference, coach John Fox said RB DeAngelo Williams has a sprained foot and is day-to-day.

Other highlights from a fairly non-newsy afternoon:

–Fox doesn’t think RB Jonathan Stewart’s lack of production this season is related to an injury.

–Fox isn’t sure when LB Thomas Davis and RT Jeff Otah will get back on the field.

–Fox will likely be turning in the low hit Sunday on Matt Moore’s leg to the league office.

Well he should. Per the current rules that hit should have been flagged. Moore limped around for a while after.

Buddy and I thought Williams didn't look quite right for a lot of the day yesterday. I figured it was from him being ill.

    • Man, I havent posted in a while, happy to see the forum is alive and well!  Really excited about this upcoming season, and this draft class!  Lee Hunter will be an instant fan favorite, i might go ahead and purchase his jersey.  Will be interesting to see what we do at Receiver, a lot of talent and a lot of bodies, does XL get traded, or do they give him a shot this season to see what he has?
    • Goings was good too.
    • I appreciate TMo, he has been a rock. Plug and play, set and forget. But there are stories that they ice his knees or knee in game when he goes to the sidelines. If it is that bad that is pretty rough and it probably won’t get better with age and more wear.     You want to pay him, and commit that money, I shouldn’t object. But let’s at least roll him over a year at a time.  He isn’t a particularly good long term gamble.
