urinary tract infections...

nasty stuff. i'm pretty sure my wife came down with one yesterday. we're in Thailand at the moment, so it's been a little hairy... twelve hour bus rides aren't very conducive to healing from the things. between her being a nurse and my Thai being just passable, we were able to locate some antibiotics, so hopefully that'll help.

she's pretty miserable right now, sleeping in the hotel room... any prayers from pray-ers would be appreciated as i'm really worried about her, and any advice would be great too.

cranberry juice never really worked for me when I actually had it, it only helps to prevent them.

make sure shes going pee exactly when she has to go, no holding it!!

make sure she isn't wearing thongs or anything like that

dont have sex with her, I know that may be hard

and the biggest one is, make sure she treats it and doesnt let it sit there or else it will move up into your kidneys and then you have a kidney infection and let me tell you, that poo is NOT fun.

It did help my wife when she got it. Cleared it up quickly.

    • Why would we not be contenders? As long as Bryce plays like he did when he came back, we absolutely can be contenders...that is...   if the defense plays better... which is why adding someone like Ramsey when we have a QB on a rookie deal and can afford it makes sense IMO. No one thought of the Commanders being contenders last year or the Texans the year before and so on and so forth. Top-end QB play, especially for a guy on a rookie deal, changes everything in terms of timelines. Regardless of what this board thinks, I hope the front office is willing to he aggressive in thks window we currently have with a rookie QB deal
    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
