I know it won't happen but.....

If this team does not beat the Rams, Foxy and Davidson should be fired. For too long the Panthers have been undercoached. There had been talent here that has not been utilized to anywhere near its potential. Foxy is a good coach, but not good enough. Davidson is over his head.

Fox forces his players to adjust to what he wants to do, instead of what the players are good at. This is why New England and Indianapolis have been so good for so long. They change to the players on the field. Fox, year after year tries to force a square peg into a round hole.

Most of the time, fans fail to see things that coaches do... coaches have a job for a reason.

however, it's become blatantly obvious that our offense is not functioning and playcalling AND execution are lacking. I think that a change needs to be made, it only to send a message that this team is accountable for it's poor play and it's time to improve.

I mean, on 1st and 2nd down, teams always have our number... and I have trouble believing that is because they are just sooo lucky. =p

That is what coaches do. They fit players to their scheme to win football games. I think it's very obvious our o-line and QB are subpar

This season is going by so damn slow and it sucks so bad. Its just obvious as long as Fox/Jeff is together we're going nowhere. We ran the ball too many times, and we did enough stupid ass trick plays

You cant beat the Rams something is wrong. Gettis gets no plays called for him. Its pathetic

no one will get fired. as much as i wish that would happen, it won't.

if we did fire foxy and/or davidson, who would we get to run the offense? tolbert? rip? skipper? none f those options look particularly appealing to me. maybe we go to someone in the UFL. it can't be much worse.

As I said in my thread title...won't happen. But, I do think firing Foxy would energize the fanbase. Got to worry now about anyone showing up for home games.

    • This season only ends one way... We win this Sunday. Bryce is decent. We take back 1st place...   Only to then get our brakes blown off in the last two weeks.
    • Here's one of the most maddening things, that will be shown in full light over the next three weeks. The same people around here that called Darnold a bum and Mayfield a washed up over draft are also the ones saying Bryce is a catastrophe. Yeah, and I've been one who said Bryce wasn't big enough, brave enough or capable enough. I said back in the day that Darnold had a lot of fight in him and got shouted down. And on Mayfield, heck I didn't know, I just knew we had a very, very bad team that was run terribly. But I saw both of those guys go out there and resurrect their careers and be play-off bound since shaking the Carolina clay dust off their cleats. And we sat there and cat called their cars as they pulled out of the parking lot, laughing at what nobodies they were. Over the next three weeks, those two guys may just serve us sh!t sandwiches and then settle down to their just desserts. And then we'll probably let Bryce go off into the realm of other teams. And when that happens, will we see him coming back, better than before and we're left to re-sit this cycle all over again? Same naysayers, same results, same revolving carousel of ponies and pundits?  Will we end up looking like the Temu version of the San Diego Chargers back in the day watching Drew Brees come to fruition in the previously moribund Superdome while we whiff on a Manning pick just to be jilted for Phillip "Always a Bridesmaid" Rivers?
