there is hope.....but something tells me harrell stock will rise so we will not be able to get him pat white is another story

The Carolina Panthers appear to be looking for their quarterback of the future this week at the Senior Bowl. The team scheduled meetings with Texas Tech's Graham Harrell and with West Virginia's Pat White. The team also has a trio of talented running backs on their radar. Liberty's Rashad Jennings, Virginia's Cedric Peerman and Oregon's Jeremiah Johnson were all scheduled to meet with team officials

01/20/09 - 2009 Senior Bowl Monday: The physical traits of running backs Jeremiah Johnson (Oregon, 5-8 3/4, 198) and Cedric Peerman (Virginia, 7 7/8-inch hands) disappointed scouts. Arm and hand length may seem trivial to casual fans, but backs with small hands like Peerman will get tested by NFL linebackers in space to see if they can hold onto the ball. Although he hadn't had fumble issues until the end of his senior year, pro scouts will factor the late-season turnovers and small hands in their evaluations. - Chad Reuter, The Sports Xchange, NFLDraftScout.com

none of that matters...i mean how many 6th round QBs become of the best in the NFL..it only takes one you never know. no matter where they come from

It does actually show how many actually enter the NFL as "NFL ready".

The MAC has like 7 QB's in the NFL right now.(just another 'useless fact')

It doesn't mean they all will suck, or what ever, I mean really how many times is a player drafted(even by our team) that you never heard of.

      I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.

      I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
