Did you really think it was gonna end like this?

A decade? No. A couple years, probably yes, maybe 3. Our defense is good enough to win in this league, that's more than those teams could say during their team. Honestly, a decent QB and better coaches and we'd be a good team, that's how I feel. Richardson better sign checks the next season we play to make up for this though.

The fins went 1-15 in 07' and went 11-5 the next year. The rams won one game last year and are in contention to win their division this year. We need a hungry, aggressive coach and someone like the big tuna that can bring in the right personnel. We have too many good players on our roster like Beason, Gamble, Williams, Stewart, Gross, TD, etc. We will be fine.

It will depend on the new coach and what QB he brings in. If another yes man is brought in, it will awhile before win again. If a strong coach with a personality is brought in we could win next year, if there is a next year. Everything will depend on what JR wants. does he want the same team we have had for 16 years or does he want to compete with the elite teams?

we had a solid run guys.

My only fear is bills or lion status for the next decade or even more :-X

I didnt think itd end this soon though :(

thats my fear, as well.

To answer your question, though, naw. I didnt think it would end this soon. I knew we'd be bad this year, but I didnt think we'd be this bad. I predicted 6-10 bad, but we're worse than that. Hopefully, we get a coach in here who can turn this thing around quickly, and hopefully, we're able to keep our stars(Beason, Williams, Kalil, Stewart, Smitty) around. That will be the tricky part, though. Don't know if they're going to want to stick around after they've seen what the owner has put their coach(who all of them praise, by the way) through.

Bills and Lions had problems that ran far deeper than what we have. Really we have two/thirds of the equation right. Defense and Special Teams. obviously our offense has taken a step back, but I guarantee the new coach well bring in a veteran presence and emphasize getting better on offense

    • Per Bill Barnwell  Broncos part ways with a CB on the roster bubble Broncos get: 2026 seventh-round pick Panthers get: CB Damarri Mathis The Broncos have a rare problem among NFL teams: too many cornerbacks. ESPN's Jeff Legwold projects they could move on from Mathis, who was very good as a rookie in 2022 before losing his starting job after the defense's slow start in 2023. He played just 27 defensive snaps after Week 6 that season and 80 more across 10 games in 2024. With the Broncos using their 2025 first-round pick on cornerback Jahdae Barron, they could justify moving on from Mathis, who might not be active on game days even if he sticks around. Mathis' best season came with defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero in Denver, and he hasn't been able to reach those same heights since Evero left for Carolina. The Panthers are set with Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson and nickel corner Chau Smith-Wade as their three starting corners, but Mathis could push the 28-year-old Jackson and serve as Carolina's primary reserve on the outside. Mathis is owed $3.4 million in 2025, so Denver might essentially buy a draft pick by eating some of that cash, similar to what the Commanders did when they sent running back Brian Robinson Jr. to the 49ers.
    • They can get fuged for a 6th and 7th. Doesn't make sense for us for anything less than a 4th and them paying a majority of his salary.
