Here's hoping Edwards gets a start at QB this year

So what would it take for someone to succeed in THIS OFFENSE? The veteran and the "pro style college offense" rookie haven't done it.

A gambler with above average accuracy. Only 3 QB's are that way in the past few years. 1 was here but his skill set dimenished, 1 is pushing 42 years old with a dimenishing skill set, and the other just retired this past year.

Only had we got Warner after the Giants debacle. We would have had some decent seasons.

So nobody in the world fits our offense. Sounds like more of a reason to use a guy like Armanti that can succeed in any offense with his running ability to me.

Doesn't change the fact that he is the greatest FCS football player of all time.

And that doesn't change the fact that he is a receiver in the NFL.

Then why did we draft him? Are we complete idiots?

Is that what U R saying?

To be fair we are idiots. We drafted two WR early, one who can't catch and one who has never played the position.

It's more where we drafted Armanti than what position.

Yet sadly no one outside of the Carolinas will remember him in 2 years.

Armanti Edwards everyone, the tallest midget around!

He will probably not be able to walk the streets of rural Tibet without being bothered.

Hall of Fame will probably waive their requirements by then to go ahead and put him in.

You will be hanging around outside the stadium with camera and pen trying to get his autograph.

Both Republican and Democratic presidential candidates will be waiting breathlessly by the phone for his endorsement.

Babies will be named after him so much that it will be the #1 name.

PS- he is much above average heigth....what 5'11"

Didn't need a shot from another team, got drafted here.

Worked out for maybe 20+ NFL teams. So far as I heard, most others were going to draft him as a QB. Are they all idiots?

I really do not see why he wasn't drafted #1.

Must have been a mistake on someone's part.

(Hyperbole Rocks!)

He is the only player, at any level of college football, to pass for over 10,000 yards and rush for 4,000 in a career. 2 national championships (should have been 3 but his receiver dropped an easy catch in the endzone vs Montana). 2 time Walter Payton award winner.

Okay, you're turn.

You have officially moved into a first-place tie with PFFL now.
