Worst OC

He is an idiot. A fraud who has done nothing to get where he is. He gets outcoached every game.

I thought the worst call was with 7 minutes to go. 2nd and 13 and you are down 2 scores. Goodson-right side. Stuffed. WHo is blocking on the right side? What does the clock do when a run play ends? How good is Clausen in third and long?

I think I resent more than anything else is Davidson's "dummy it down" philosphy to make sure the players understand it. First, teach the players--that is kinda your friggin job. Second, you don't even understand the offense in relation to game situations. But by going public and saying he was simplifying the offense, I would have asked him these questions:

Are you suggesting that you went into the first six games with an offense that your young team did not understand?

So, because your team didn't understand the complexity of your offensive genius, you decided to change QBs, going from a veteran to a rookie. How did that work out for you?

Is this your way of blaming the players?

Why are you up top, on the sideline, up top again. Do you have any idea even where to watch the game?

Do you look back on Cleveland as "the good ole days?"

We were within a possession of a tie when the Goodson run you mention occurred. 7 minutes was plenty of time IF we had got an average punt or the D had been able to get the stop on just one of those 3rd and longs (1 of 11 yards, the other 15). Laying it all on one scapegoat won't get it fixed. (see Henning)

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
