How is a late hit called before the whistle ending the play blows?

Late hits are called all the time on hits before the whistle. (don't know when the whistle blew, doesn't matter.) Clausen was stopped before Talib had even made it into the vicinity. He ran across the field just to spear clausen.

Sorry to hear about Clausons concussion. Nobody wants to see anybody get injured.

Well that was a good gif. Throw the Ronde Barber hit up as well. It's seems it is okay when a player on another team is hurt but not okay when it is a player on the Panther team.

This has gone to the NFL for review so let's see what they come back with.

Yes....They may be called when a player is down, but Clausen wasn't down. He was the ball carrier and it was still a live ball. I guess this just goes back to Panther fans not understanding the rules.

When forward progress had been stopped, talib was 10 yards away and not even running to the ball.

Clear as day on the video.

I guess the officials are to blame for not whistling it sooner.

It does matter on a running play when the runner is still on his feet.

Six yards is 'across the field'?

Doubtful, and even though it's a dirty play, they happen all the time and it's the NFL for chrissake. Yeah the whistle should have been blown sooner but those refs were terrible yesterday, screwed up calls on both sides pretty bad.

Oh and Talib is a fuqtard, just like Wesley.

      I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.

      I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...

      Also maybe the biggest part is his fromer college buddy, Lord Lamar told the GM to sign him. It was done nearly right after and guess who was the first person Alexander met at ravens stadium??
