Countdown to Jan 2nd 2011.

Awesomeness!!

This day should be circled on all of your calendars. Its the day we lock in our top 5 pick. Its the day this disgraceful season ends, and should be the day John Fox, Marty Hurney, and maybe more importantly Jeff Davidson are all fired. On a forum of well over 1000 active members, we find one thing we can all agree on so lets countdown to about 5:00 EST on Jan 2nd 2011!!!

Are you going to be disappointed when Hurney isn't fired? You do know that he will be hiring the new coach and most likely has a contract in place already..

As for the Rest, I can't wait to see what the Front Office does in regards to hiring a new coach and I can't wait till Davidson is gone.....

Fox doesn't have to be fired since his deal is up. I'm not sure about Davidson, but I'm sure he'll see the writing on the wall.

I'm not sure about Hurneys deal either, but he will be fired. I wouldn't be surprised if JR selects the next coach himself.

Lol, if you think JR will fire Hurney.... Hurney's been here 12 years and has the job locked..... I think it's funny, it's not like he's a horrible GM or something.... he's one of the better team building GM's in the league and that's exactly what the Panthers need right now....

thread fail?

:yesnod:

In regards to the fact that a lot of people are assuming that Hurney is gone.....

On the other points, not so much....

I can't wait till there's something new and different to cheer for....I'm just hoping for some offensive creativity...or something different then the RRPP style that Fox used. lol

I guarantee Hurney will be fired on Jan 2nd right along with Fox. I wouldn't be surprised if JR did it in the same press release lolz.

Do I smell a bet?

You lost because Fox contract will be up. So no firing actually no one will be fired since the assistants and Coordinators contracts are up too.

So you lose.

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
