Beason or DWill?

Who Would You Keep if we could only resigned one?

Now don't get me wrong I think we resign both but if I had to choose It would Be Beason no question the guy a f**king beast and our leader on defense. It would not really hurt that much losing dwill since we have stewart/goodson/sutton on the roster but still Dwill is a threat to break a huge run every play and u don't wanna let him walk if you can help it.

Shouldn't the question be Deangelo or TD....

beason's contract I was thinking was coming to an end aswell maybe I messed up if so my bad.

Beason is through next season, this year has several big names expiring in Deangelo, Kalil, TD, James Anderson and Richard Marshall....

from that list I would resign Dwill,Kalil, and Davis and let Anderson & Marshall walk esp Marshall he been garbage this year. Then no doubt Resign Beason whatever it takes in the next year.

I hope they don't let Anderson walk, I want Deangelo, Kalil, Davis and Anderson back. Bret Jensen reported yesterday that the Panthers will have around 60-70 MILLION in cap space next year, we should easily be able to extend the guys we want to....

id rather keep james anderson than TD IMO

Ditto, I want both but if I had to choose one or the other it would be Anderson, no doubt about it. Hopefully they bring both back though, listening to TD on the fan he seems pretty confident he will be back next season. A LB corps of Beast, Anderson and a healthy TD is just nasty....

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
