Better to do a complete change now?

Since all the defensive coaches are gone wouldnt it be better to go ahead and change everything now, such as bringing in Cowher. Since Pep wants out and the D looks to need a complete overhaul save for Beason, Harris, and Gamble wouldnt it be smarter to bring in a guy to go ahead and begin the new era of Carolina football? The running game was very good but the passing game was suspect at best so I'm not sold on Davidson either. The play calling on offense at times was mind boggling. Carolina has a horrible schedule next year and the odds that Fox can get us back into the playoffs is slim to none IMO. Lets bring in Cowher( if he wants the job) and let him turn this franchise into a juggernaut.

I really don't know. If Fox feels disrespected, by not trying to keep his coaches. Then yes make the change, because if not it will just be a wasted year. But if he was a part of the decision not to offer new contracts to the coaches, then a change is not necessary.

lmfao..

Fox deserves one more year AT LEAST. I understand and am as frustrated as any to see such conservative play calling, but the guy just took the team to 12-4 in the regular season.

Our ST's have improved TREMENDOUSLY.

Our Offense is the best it's been in a looooooong time (at least in his tenure here)

Our defense, although is not up to par for a Carolina defense, is still better than the top half of the league (or was).

Because people left on the defensive side of the ball means we can try to correct those issues on the defensive side of the ball. And keep in tact an offense and ST's that has excelled (minus that one playoff game)..

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
