When's the next best player coming?

1996 Kobe Bryant (although he was mostly hype till 98-99)

2003 LeBron James (Doesn't impress me much, great player but mostly just statistics)

Kevin Durant is really good but he's not annoying or self absorbed so he'll never get the recognition.

When do you guys think we'll see the next LeBron or Kobe?

Right now i would say Durant. Since you already said Durant I will go with Derrick Rose. Dude can play. And is making a big jump from last year. Not that he was bad last year.

John Wall easily within the next 2-3 years.

His personality, and obviously improving game should leap him into the "Star" status.

Like the threadstarter said, Durant is far too humble to be "the NBA's next best player." I'm good with it being Wall or Durantuala. Aside from Chris Paul, those 2 are my favorite players in the game now

If Dwight Howard ever refined his game and actually learned how to play basketball instead of waddling after the ball like a fat kid after cake, he'd be the top of the league.
