are you even watching this game? it's not a matter of losing. it's how they're doing it.

the jets being favored for a superbowl doesn't make you ignore a ball bouncing off your helmet.

Your right, the bengals are just aweful bad... can't that franchise pick another year to suck... they are good at that.

ahh rayzor they look bad, really bad.

we look bad too it's just... inattentive, terribly coached fits these guys to a tee, way more than it does us. yeah the playcalling blows just like ours... but it's mental mistake after mental mistake at a level that is really...

just grah.

the good thing is, they are a game up on us. there is no way they can lose less than they already have. there is a huge chance that we could win no more than we have already.

as ugly as they look, we still have the edge.

Somehow I feel like we'll either beat cleveland or arizona.

One of two things is going to happen if we get the #1 overall pick. Either way, if we get the top pick we shouldn't be drafting Luck.

#1-no CBA is signed and we end up with the top pick and grab Luck and get hamstringed with a rookie QB that has a 60+ million dollar contract. Who can't even play his first year in the league.

#2- a CBA is signed and a rookie salary cap is set into place which would then make this years top pick the most lucrative trading chip in a draft in possibly forever.

#1 is not as big of a deterent but if no CBA is in place then you know that JR is not going to drop that kind of cash on a completely unknown QB.

Without a 2nd in next years draft, if a CBA and a rookie cap is in place, it would be fool-hardy to not use that pick as a way to grab multiple picks in the draft.

Yeah, yeah, Luck is the greatest thing since sliced bread but if the team has the chance to grab 4 players instead of 1 it would be worth it. All day.

    • It is like when you go to da buffet at da Golden Corral and dey have all dis food and you get the same thing every time.   There is probably something you would like more, but you go to da same ol racks and get da same ol food every time.  Not sure why I am writing in trailer park dialect, but hey, watcha gonna dooo.
    • If we don't go OT, we will regret it.  What bothers me?  Are we going to get a starting-caliber OT at 19?  I think the draft is solid at OT, and the more I read up and watch video, the more I watch Lomu, the more I want him.   I see Freeling as a RT who needs some work in run blocking (since we need to run first, maybe not a good fit) and I see Proctor ending up as a Guard.  After Lomu (assuming Mouigia and fanu are gone), I think we wait until round 2.  In round 2, there are about 3-4 I like (Zuhn--good pass blocker and VERY underrated right now; Tiernan is a very good pass blocker as is Miller from Clemson, but both are not good in the run game.  Max Ixxxxx from Ariz St is impressive too---technically, there is not a of difference in these second tier guys--good in pass pro, need work in the run game.   If we wait until round 2 for an OT, we probably need to sign Nijman and start him early.   I almost think this is what we should do if Lomu is gone.  There is a big dropoff after him, imo, and I think we'd get better value if a stud ILB or edge is there.  Someone like TJ Parker Clemson makes sense. If Lomu is gone, trading back might be the play.
    • And what is x gunna help with except show him what not to do. Plus for the first year and a half he was just an obstacle
