All Los Angeles needs for a packed NFL Stadium every Sunday is a decent venue.

The Dodgers? 4 million attendnace per year whether they are good or suck.

The Lakers? You can't get a seat.

The Angels? 3 million plus per year.

Even the Clippers play to 16.5k per night.

The Ducks and Kings play to 16.5 k per night.

Los Angeles fans come out in droves, when the Chargers are there in a new stadium they will be no different.

I can offer up a little info on LA fans. Not sure if anyone else is from out here but I am. Most people in LA don't want to get attached to a loser. I'm a diehard Laker and Dodger fan. When the Lakers are in the playoffs you can't drive without seeing numerous Laker flags on cars. During the regular season you can't find a person to have an intelligent sports conversation with because they don't care. Dodgers fans are the same way. Real fans are few and far between. But can you blame them?

We have USC, UCLA, Kings, Ducks, Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers, and Angels. Close enough are the Chargers and the Raiders. With the huge Latino population in LA and the gang association, the Raiders are very popular due to their culture and their colors.

Not a big sports fan? No problem. There are movie premiers, fashion shows, clubs, etc that people can find more interesting. I went to the Lakers game the other night and I lost count of how many celebrities I saw. It's not about being a fan, it's about the social aspect of sports.

As a sports fan I would love to see the NFL here again, as a person with common sense I don't think it will work out unless they had a bonafide superstar every year on the team.

Which isn't easy in the NFL.

I agree. Some people will wear Kobe jerseys in LA but not know what position he plays, or who the Lakers played the night before, etc. The Dodgers were extremely popular when Manny was in town, even though he was terrible when he got off the juice/women's hormones. I don't know what it's like in other cities because I think LA is really unique in the amount of teams and the amount of other things to do but it has to be better than some of the fans we have here.

Until somebody actually says "We Are Moving To LA" I'm tired of hearing about it.

L.A has been nothing but a bargaining chip for failing franchises to extort concessions from there current cities.

& Every money bag prick out there has said he/she wants a team in L.A.

In the end I think it will happen and those whiny bitches out there in SO CAL will support it at least at first. They will have No reason not too, other then the City Of Industry being a complete sh*t hole, new digs will certainly bring in the cash for the team to have the "Opportunity" to build a quality team.

But if you get a ownership group that just wants to get fat of the L.A money and not make sound football decisions or pump it back into the team it wont be long before that stadium sits empty and if you think otherwise your an idiot. L.A's social elite won't want to be "SEEN" at a 3-13 football team.

Manny has sucked for 2 years. He only played well the year he was traded mid season.

I would judge Dodger fans by attendance the last 2 years, 4 million per. As far as Laker banners once the Playoffs start I agree.

But, the NBA regular season is a joke. It's foreplay only to see where you seed in the Playoffs.

    • Names I'd keep an eye on... Coby White,  Jalen Suggs, Amen Thompson  and Stephen Castle...  3 teams except Orlando has checked on Melo before and rumblings of sours getting rid of fox too. I'd think they think Melo and Wemby would make them nuclear out west.
    • Well he somehow had 12 preseason carries for not playing. He also has 20 carries in the regular season, not three. He has actually played in about 7% of the offensive snaps for this regular season(33% of the special teams snaps). This isn't stuff you have to make up, these are very easily referenced statistics, man.
    • It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.
