Think of the chaos factor. With asteroids & robots, we wouldn't stand a chance. But with zombies, we could put up a bit of fight, prolong the inevitable, and the total chaos of people running around like chickens with their heads cut off would be total awesome.

Would the rate of killing zombies be faster than the rate of people turning into zombies? If not, you would live your last days in fear. Or you can party it up on your last days until the Asteroid hit.

Whats the life expectancy of a zombified human? If it's anywhere over a month - expect yourself to be overrun before you can outlive/kill them.

Zombies. I want an apocalypse that allows us to eventually rebuild.

Asteroid, all life on Earth is fugged. Robots, they're hard as fug to kill, they self generate, and are smart. Eventually they'd round up all the people and do away with them, or more likely would just nuke the whole planet, since radiation and total dark would have no effect on them.

Zombies. The smart survive, you get to kill a shiz ton of walkers, and eventually, when the food supply is cut off, or they decompose completely, the plague is over. Then you can rebuild an enlightened world based on moderation. And since money isn't a factor, hell, you could boat to the Bahamas, or the Florida Keys and live in some dead billionaire's house on an island paradise for the rest of time. Sounds like fun to me.
