I am definately on the wanting the Panther's to lose bandwagon, espc if this Andrew Luck is the real deal as everybody is reporting. It was easy at a game like today cause I wasnt concerned with the Panthers even having a chance. The same will be the case on the road in Pittsburg. The game against AZ, I am not sure. That one I can see them actually pulling it out.

This current team is going nowhere with a lame duck coach, and winning one game is not going to make a difference going forward.

We're going to get one of the best players in the country regardless of whether it's at #1 or #2.

The question becomes how big a gap you see between Luck and other options.

when it comes to needs, the gap is huge. there is honestly no DL or OL worth taking with a #2 pick. Patrick Peterson is certainly worth a pick that high, but we don't need a corner as bad as we need QB or interior DL.

it's either Luck, or trade down for some additional picks.

I would ROLF if bengals ended up with first pick and Luck decided not to come out, then all this bs going on here on this site would be for nothing.

Would people be happy if we had the second pick but luck didn't come out? Then what? Do we trade it or get the "BPA"? Or best OL available?

Does anyone having any idea if it's possible for Cincy to pass us in terms of SOS (ending with a worse SOS than us) which would gives us the tie breaker?

They already have a weaker SoS than us. Which is why we need them to either win. Or their division to win. Division wins counts twice if it's a team not on your schedule too. Otherwise with Arizona and resting Falcons team looming.. things aren't looking too good for us.. Hopefully they beat either SD or Cle.

Losing games makes your SOS go up. Winning games makes it go down, but puts you in a worse spot. The difference is measured in hundredths.

GBN may be updating their chart right now. It's unavailable.

Patrick Peterson would be a legit option. However our defense is good for making stops on occasion but not playing without an offense. As long as our defense stays off the field, we can win games.
