NO, ARI winning hurts us, NO more then ARI

NE and SD winning helps us.

Seattle and SF game doesn't matter, but SF winning helps us since we we beat them and make them no concern anymore.

Phil/Dallas doesn't concern us.

NYG vs Minn, we need Minny to win since we don't play Minny and played NYG.

Game of the Week is BAL@HOU, needing BAL to win to hurt Cinci's SoS.

It's be better to beat ATL at the end of the season than beating Arizona. Giving ATL 2 Losses since they're twice on our schedule, vs only 1 vs ARI. You get net -1 with win against ATL and net 0 with win against ARI.

NO winning helps in a roundabout way, though. Keeps the pressure on the Falcons and makes it tougher for them to think about resting.

Updated SoS with Arizona winning with 1 QTR to go.

Carolina: .587

Cincy : .580

the sunday night game affects neither. Both the Monday night games affect.

we're closing in! Cincy's went up.

Plug it into a spreadsheet or are you counting on your fingers and toes?

Cardinals are beating the panties off of the Broncos right now, so they apparently have something.

it's the Broncos, come on. With McDaniels gone, they don't even have an offense anymore.

Look at how the Cardinals are winning and tell me you'd be surprised if we win.

Uggh. I've got mixed feelings. I love wins, but ... grah.

edit: well, it appears Arizona has a running game. Mebbe Hightower will run all over us? I don't want to lose to the Cardinals, fug that. I hope the Bengals beat the Browns and we beat the Cardinals.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game around when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
