Do you expect a defense to somehow play good when they're on the field the entire game due to a completely inept offense led by a quarterback who has no business starting in the NFL? They're probably dead tired by the end of the 1st quarter alone.

I could get behind this if it weren't for the fact that the defense has given up huge plays often on their first series. They did it yesterday, and I'm sure they've done it in many more games.

The D did their job against Chicago. In fact, David Carr might could have won that game for us. I mean to lose that game speaks volumes of how bad Clausen is. The D had 4 picks and that game was a perfect scenario for a QB.

D has a big weakness.....and they have done overall a good job working around it. An offense that can't do squat makes it much worse though.

Matt Moore did in 1 start at least. Great job against SF. Matt Moore didn't make the right throws and flat missed some easy big plays in his other starts. Moore didn't play well and crap OL play had nothing to do w/ some of his horrible throws. Any Panther QB has had to work under shitty playcalling etc. in recent years. That is what it is. Jimmy isn't facing anything significantly different than Jake or Moore.

Jimmy Clausen is just pure garbage. Moore played like garbage in 3 starts .....the rest of his career showed real promise. That is the difference between the 2. One had good/bad and the other bad/bad.
