She went to NYU for music and she was a singer/songwriter beforehand. I think she's geniunely talented. Too many people label pop artists unfairly simply because they are popular.

She reminds me of Micheal Jackson except everything Jackson did was him geniunely being crazy from being a non stop performer and never having a childhood.

She's just very good at all facets of being a pop star.

oh by the way i heard on the radio that she is going to be on american idol tonight, i dont watch it but ill tune in to see if she sings or not. Unfortunatly pop music does not lend to showing off your voice but when on a piano she can actually sing unlike many other "pop" artists.
