I would cut the Giants defense.....they were the ones that allowed 4 TD's in 7 minutes.

And they were talking earlier that he had had some trouble even handling the snaps recently...

Cut him. There are lots of punters who can catch the snap and kick the ball out of bounds when you want them to.

Punter didn't lose that game. Bad coaching and bad play from the entire team did.

My friend talked to Matt for a few minutes last night and said it pretty much sounded like someone had killed his dog... heh...

He might even be changing his cell phone number because he's getting hate messages/calls from people he doesn't even know now...

Friend speculated on if Dodge would still have a job or not, but didn't know for sure either way... He said the biggest change was that now his face is going to be associated with that game, and he'll lose the typical anonymity that most players/especially punters have...

NO. No way. It was not his fault. 2-3 Giants had a chance to tackle him after he bobbled the ball and they miss. It's more of their fault than Dodge's. And if Coughlin blames this whole loss on Dodge, it just shows how terrible of a coach he is.
