Let's also start a petition for no homework on the weekends at your jr high school. Get real man, a petition for Harbaugh? While you're at it, add 'free beer at ths stadium' to your petition.

It worked before, why not now? And leave my jr high alone cause it makes you look bad.

There is a massive difference between putting a logo on the field and personnel decisions.

He was absolutely right to listen to cave to the fans about a logo on a field - he would be a blithering idiot to let some petition by a fans impact who the head coach is.

Not an idiot... He screw the fan base big time, he'll be an idiot by not fixing it. If there is a football next season and we promote Meeks and Clausen is a starter... how many tickets will we sell?

Will not happen. JR simply does not have the balls. Sorry guys, no way it will happen.

JR may not take the risk, but it certainly isn't out of the question. The man isn't getting any older, and he has a history of health issues. After an abysmal season such as the current one and a complete overhaul of our roster, a young fiery coach could look like the best option for Richardson. Recent trends in NFL HC job hires have not be retreads.

Point is, I think if JR steps back, sees the toll this season took on his players, fans, and franchise, a BIG move is going to be made one way or another. The man completely turned our roster into one of the youngest, I see no reason why he wouldn't hire a young guy with something to prove. Players respond best to someone they can relate too. Not to mention, hiring him would be our Lucky ticket.

JR has made public apologies to the fans, but his actions will have to speak louder than words. Whether you agree or not, I bet that Richardson has had a plan in action for some time now. Young roster with promise, a young top-notch HC hire, and a franchise QB prospect waiting in the wings is all lined up. JR wants to win more than any of us, and will spend when necessary.

    • So Willis had a good game against a poor defense and all of a sudden he is worth 50 million and is guaranteed to be better than Young. LOL I know he looked good in the 3 games he started, and I think he will have success long term, but anyone signing him up for a long term contract for 50 million is taking a huge risk.
    • Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester.  That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
