If there is a player in the draft that reminds you of #89 he will be gone early. No one will ever amount to SS physical character, intensity, skill, speed, and desire to win. No one has all those characteristics other than SS. There will not be another #89 for a long time.

I'm of the opinion we should try to go after a proven receiver in free agency. So with that receiver, Smitty (I still think he stays), Gettis, LaFell and Edwards, you're already at five receivers.

I would like to draft another receiver, but I think we've already got enough youth. Time to get a proven playmaker and see if these young guys can step up before taking another young receiver.

Smitty is 50% talent, 50% attitude. There's a ton of people playing in college with the potential to be as talented, but the attitude is hard to find.

I had said this in a previous post. This kid makes all the catches. Did not have a super productive career, but I love what I've seen from him. I've looked all over mock drafts, and hes not on anyones radar. I was wondering if Harbaugh would bring in guys that do not get drafted. He is great. I dont think hes as speedy or shifty as smith, but can go up and get the ball like smith. I think he would great! Funny you saw that too.
