Bad news for Panthers, regarding CBA

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, one of the leaders in labor talks between the National Football League and its players, said negotiations are not going well.

We all know what our strategy is going to be if negotiations don't work out. We might be looking at another horrible off season if things don't change soon. I don't understand how they can't come to an agreement I mean as popular as football is and with all the money that is made they should of already solved the CBA months ago.

Nobody is going to sign or re-sign any players until a new CBA is reached. They won't even officially start free agency until one is signed. There's nothing out of the ordinary about this.

Yeah, to a pretty small deal. It will actually benefit us in terms of knowing how much the salary cap will be set at to wait until a new CBA is reached. Our FA's aren't going anywhere in the meantime, don't worry.
