It is . He said a few years ago that if he ever coached in the NFL he would still run the spread offense. Yeah that will work .

I was surprised to see people mentioning Rich Rodriguez for an OC job... but I wonder what our FO wants to do. Theyre going to be bringing in people that meet the organizations plan. Now what that plan is offensively is the question. Do we stick with a run and pound that has defined our organization the past 5 or so years, or do we branch out into a more diverse passing game. Based on us hiring a DC for HC, they will probably stick with the talent we have and have a run first offense. Also considering Clausen sucks, but this will all be determined on what we do draft day. Richardson said he isnt trading down, why wouldnt we select a franchise QB?

He did work with McDaniels for three years (2000-2003) in New England, so they probably have some familiarity.
