is this hypothetical then?? I'm under the impression that the rookie pay scale wont go into effect until 2012 thats why so many underclassmen are declaring this year.

Nope, rook pay scale will happen with a signed CBA, which means no rooks will be signed until after then.

Darth and I discussed this earlier. It would be irresponsible for the owners to go into the draft without having a framework as to how those rookies will be paid.

Wouldn't trade out of the top 10 (missing out on Green, Cam, Prince or Peterson) it's obvious we will explore the option will it happen tho....
