we don't need another wr we need a wr coach who will continue to coach during games and after games so I'm fine with our wr group but in our late picks if we want to fill depth there at reciever then go ahead but our early picks we need help with o-line and d-line mainly DT but we also need depth so its going to be interesting on what our new coach will do hope the fo will let the coach have the freedom to what he wants to do with players and staff

AJ Green is the real deal but I don't feel good about him with the #1 pick overall. Maybe if we can trade down and get him mid 1st I would feel better. So much risk at that position and he doesn't have the kind of skill sets like megatron.

I'm sure it's been said already... but Green is too skinny... I think Blackmon is the better package. Jacoby Jones maybe should even go before Green.

You need to remember that we are talking NFL now... not college. Green might not have the strength needed to overcome NFL corners.

LOL at people thinking Green is going to be as good as people say he is. You guys hype people up so much and put them on a pedistool so high that when it comes time to perform and they have one bad game you are instantly off their bandwagon or you are yelling at the front office for signing or drafting them.

Interesting.

Well, it's interesting because it seems like your making an assumption about me, and ignoring the fact it isn't just this fanbase claiming him to be great.

Scouts have been comparing him to Randy Moss since his Freshmen year.

I never thought we'd have a shot at him, but now that he's there, I'm excited about the possibility of having him on our team.

Honestly, I just think your one of those people can't stand the amount of respect the SEC gets, but whatever. You made an assumption about me so I get to make one about you.

Green is bigger than Blackmon.

Not sure where this misconception is coming from.

Let's put this non-issue to bed right now.

Here's a list of notable WRs that are considered to be in the same category as Green.

Dez Bryant- 6'2" 217

Justin Blackmon-6'2" 207

Randy Moss-6'4" 210

AJ Green-6'4" 212

Terrell Owens- 6'3" 224

Andre Johnson-6'3" 225

Larry Fitzgerald- 6'3" 218

And Calvin Johnson, who is the biggest of the bunch, at 6'5" 236.

Take into account that Bryant, Blackmon, and Green are all anticipated to grow some as they reach the next level (I threw Bryant in there because he's still young)

Blackmon is stronger than Green, Green is faster based on size to weight Blackmon is thicker and Green has been compared to Fitzgerald for some odd reason. Also Green hasn't even played one full season at Georgia, he is always missing games.

Interesting, again.

Well this time it's interesting because it sounds like you made up some stuff this time to suit your needs.

Care to show how you reached the conclusion that Blackmon is stronger than Green?

And I'm getting ready to look into the "missing games" issue with Green you mentioned.

As I said, your just an SEC hater trying to prove a non-existant point.

Take Green.

Green missed games in 2009 due to injury. In 2010, he was suspended. Injuries are a slight concern but eh, if he's the real deal you take him. He is one of the highest rated players in this year's draft.

From ESPN about him in 2009:

Missed three games due to injury in 2009. Missed Tennessee Tech after bruising his chest during the Florida contest a week prior. Missed other two (Kentucky and Georgia Tech) due to a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder suffered versus Auburn.
