AJ Green should be the pick. Smith needs to move on. It is sad but true we should trade him for what we can get. Bring in Alex Smith from San Fran and give him Gettis, Lefell, AE and GREEN we will quickly have a legit NFL offense.

If I thought for one second that JR was willing to make a major move to get a very good vet QB to lead this team, then I'd be all over drafting Green. I'll fall out of my computer chair if JR makes that move.

It's become almost a necessity at this point.

If we can't address the position ourselves, we'll be forced to make a trade.

He's also party senile imo, and might make conflicting statements, while erring on the side of saving money. I want Cam, or a very good proven vet QB to lead this team. I think JR wants to stick with Clausen at starter for next season, or possibly draft a rookie and give him a cheap contract. I hope I'm wrong about him wanting to stick with Clausen.

So for everyone wanting Cam, you wan him to come in here, with our options at receiver and Dwill possibly leaving, Smitty not working out, playing one year in college, so basically in what would be his second season in college he starts in the NFL, and as a rookie expect him to fix this team? Sounds like a fairy tale.

We will have better options at QB next year, for now we will surround them with weapons and get a vet to fill the role for a year or maybe someone we just want to try. When I say I want green I say I want him at #1 overall if we can't/won't/don't trade down. If we can get one of the top 5 prospects whoever they may be and also pick up a second rounder or more than I am all for it. I personally don't think teams will be interested or offer a whole lot.

Define fix this team. I'm expecting a losing record with Cam at QB, but he might give us a bright future. At this point I don't see how we can improve to the point of having a winning season short of spending serious $$$$$$ in FA.

At this point I'll take Cam over Green, and I don't want to draft Cam lol, but we need a QB way more than a wide reciever. I'll take Smith, LaFell, and Gettis again and be completely happy with it as long as we have a capable QB.

We better spend an ass of money in FA, that was the point in trashing this season right? To have money to bring in talent. When I say fix this team, I mean instantly because either way we would have to get a vet or someone else to start while Cam sits and if we are already doing that we might as well get Green, have a losing season, then get a high pick for better prospects next year instead of wait 3 years while cam sits behind a vet with no weapons. This is a bit biased becasue I am really not a fan of Cam and with these risks I don't see him being #1 overall worthy.
