Ron Rivera now reportedly the leading candidate for the HC job

Now I know that our coaching staff will not 100% look like this but I can guarantee that at least 3-7 of those coaches will be on our coaching staff.

You can't even guarantee that Rivera will be here. How can you say that any of those assistants will be here. Slight overreaction if you ask me.

I mean if Rivera is here. The only reason I am saying this is because every where he has gone he has had the tendancy to bring at least one of his buddies with him and considering that the Panthers have vacancies at every position you can almost guarantee it.

Braylon Edwards was never a Bronco, I think you mean Brandon Marshall. Also he wouldn't have control over personnel if he was offensive coordinator so he couldn't trade our superstars away. If you look at his offenses when he was at the Patriots, the record setting 2007 season and what he did with Matt Cassel in 2008, and even what he did with Kyle Orton in Denver its obvious the guy knows how to run an offense and develop a quarterback both of what we need dearly.

How has the Patriot offense been before and after McDaniles?

Crennel, Mangini, McDaniels, Weiss. You really want these failures away from the Patriot Machine/Bill Belichek calling the shots for the Panthers?

Who's the Patriots OC this year? Don't Google it.

HC: Rivera

DC: Ryan

OC: McDaniels

LB: Singletary

honestly i'd like the new coach to bring back Richard Smith as LB coach (if that is indeed who the LB coach has been, had to check the site). he's done an excellent job progressing several kids into outstanding LBs.

EDIT: I see he's only been the coach since 2009. still decent, though.

You would really have to sell these coaches on the commitment to winning and their own job security along with adjusting some contracts as far as money concers due to many of these coaches capabilites to be very good coaches. Now I wouldn't call it a demotion I would call it more of an oppurtunity to be great. Now the only reason I don't call it a demotion is because those particular coaching positions aren't as important so to speak as the head coach, offensive coach defenisve coaching job is.

I should've just left it at "this is 100% unrealistic" and not really argued with you. I posted a realistic group of assistants in this thread and most all of them are both available and the type guys we'd hire.

You don't just hire guys that the coach is unfamiliar with. Rivera will get to choose his staff and he will not choose guys he is unfamiliar with.

he doesn't just get to go outside and shout it to make it happen. Teams have to allow those coaches to leave. Hint: they won't.
