Fairley Impressed me

To be fair, Auburn didn't exactly gash up Oregon's "non-existant D".

Yea I stated in the other thread that Auburn played a horrible game.

Dropped passes, overthrown passes, dropped INT's.

If the Auburn WRs brought their hands with them today it could have easily been 36+ to 19.

Plus we need to hear more about this injury. Cam was injured during the game...

He was clearly not 100% for most of the 2nd Half.

The only problem I really see with Fairley is that he is a single gap DT, which is pretty much what all of the DT's we have are. Except maybe Neblitt.

However he is a much greater physical specimen compared to the likes of Hayden and Landri and is a must if he comes out and we can't trade down.

One thing that doesn't impress me with him is that he is considered a dirty player. I was going to look up player comparisons on Nick Fairley and when I went to type in his name the word dirty was the first recommendation after his name. I honestly like having dirty players but they can hurt us with penalties and suspensions. The NFL is very strick on dirty players and JR might decide not to get him based on this.
